The Wildlife Photographer of the Year (filtered through the hypercube) is a series of absurd drawings inspired by posts on the #Cultshare website. The first post was about The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition and the second was a workshop about drawing in the fourth spatial dimension.
The illustrations shown here depict some 4-Do baboons as well as a hyperduck!
The opening of the cultshare. Show was brilliant last night, great to meet some new people, fantastic work by all. Big thanks to @georgemackayflowers!

Huge thanks to Master Duncan at Shinobi Screenprint for the fantastic job on these four colour process tees!
It has been a great pleasure for me to help local poet and artist Carole Inman with the design of her wonderful book 'Only Now Do I Know - Poems of a five year old boarder'.
Carole's poems and expressive artwork deal with some very difficult subjects, primarily the ordeal of being sent to boarding school at the age of five. The subject matter is at times quite dark but the book itself is a rewarding journey through which Carole's infectious enthusiasm, creativity and compassion is always a guiding light.
You can find out more about Carole and buy a copy of her book at
Tomorrow sees the start of a series of workshops with students at Marlborough School in Falmouth. I will be working with Anna Kiernan at Thread and artist Lucy Kerr helping children develop visual storytelling skills. More info below...
Thread has been awarded funding from Literature Works‘ Grassroots Literature Awards Scheme to deliver a pilot project to inspire young readers to create visual stories.
In collaboration with John Kilburn, a book artist, publisher and illustrator and Lucy Kerr, artist and illustrator, Thread will work with Marlborough school children to spark new ideas about creative writing.
The aim of these sessions is to inspire children, who may be unconfident readers, to develop skills in visual and narrative literacy that help them create and share stories.
Anna Kiernan, Managing Partner at Thread said:
I’m delighted about this new creative collaboration and am grateful to Literature Works for their support and to Marlborough school for their enthusiasm for this project. My son and John’s nephew are not avid readers but make up fantastic stories. We wanted to create opportunities for other children to explore story-telling through scribing, outdoor adventures and local inspiration.
